Called to a property in Thatcham where the customer was worried they needed a new boiler, as there radiators wouldn’t heat up. After giving the system a full check up, we concluded much to the customers relief that they needed a power flush instead. Here is a photo of our magnetic filter, a larger and more powerful version of the magnetic filters we recommend be fitted to all systems.

Here is our magnetic filter after just one hour of power flushing. What you see is congealed sludge, the result of oxidisation in the system, and a clear indication that the system had never been power flushed before. This was just one load out of many removed from the system over the course of the day, and it was a whole day!. After the power flush the system worked much better and all the radiators heated up, so instead of paying out between £1500 and £2000 the customer for a new boiler, they paid £270 and gave their exiting system a new lease of life for a fraction of the cost.
